After your have estimated the number of guests you are going to invite, you will start thinking about the style of the cards. Of course you will be trying to search for cards which will match your idea of winter. Again, the idea of snowflakes can be used for your invitation card. You will be printing some snowflakes on your card. You may also print a snowman on your card. In most cases you will adapt the idea of white color so that you can deliver a feeling of being in the winter when your guests see the card. If you are going to have your wedding on the Christmas night, you may even print a Santa Clause on the invitation card. However, you should be very careful when you are designing the card.
Classic Palette: If you want traditional nautical wedding invitations, stick with a timeless palette of navy, red, and white. Especially if you are having a seafood dinner, use an icon like a crab or lobster (like this fetching example). Anchors Aweigh!: The most popular icon featured on nautical wedding invitations is an anchor. Such a classic statement, use an anchor throughout your wedding details, such as your guestbook, welcome signage, and at the top of your menus.
Retro Styling: For the lighthearted couple, partner your nautical theme with retro details for a fun decor scheme. This invitation suite incorporated tattoo-inspired fonts and sherbet hues to set a playful mood. Elegant Extras: Want to take your nautical theme up a notch? Go a little more formal by using elegant extras like envelopes lined with map prints and letterpress embossing.
Sophisticated Simplicity: Don't want to really go all-out nautical for your waterfront affair? Stick with paper goods that are clean, simple, and sophisticated. This navy and green invite hints at a nautical theme without being too on the nose. Seaside Fun: Who doesn't love a day at the beach? This happy little whale will make your guests smile and most certainly encourage them to check the "will attend" box.
