For this nautical wedding invitation, I designed it with neutral tones and a classic gold. This versatile approach gave the bride countless options. She wasn’t tied to a navy wedding and could pick her choice of colors from the color wheel. We were able to incorporate a different nautical symbol—the anchor, knot, and compass—on each piece of stationery to give her wedding invitation suite variety, yet it still tied together in a seamless collection. You can really get creative with nautical wedding invitations and save the dates. Some sample nautical wedding invitation wording can include:
Classic Palette: If you want traditional nautical wedding invitations, stick with a timeless palette of navy, red, and white. Especially if you are having a seafood dinner, use an icon like a crab or lobster (like this fetching example). Anchors Aweigh!: The most popular icon featured on nautical wedding invitations is an anchor. Such a classic statement, use an anchor throughout your wedding details, such as your guestbook, welcome signage, and at the top of your menus.
10 types of wedding invitation paper: While you were busy fussing about the wordings for your marriage invitation, you might have completely ignored the dozen or so options you have for choosing the paper on which your marriage invitation card will be printed. Just when you thought things cannot get crazier, we unearthed 11 additional reasons to make your wedding-planning more complicated.
The main point of making creative wedding invitations with this method is the pictures themselves. Make sure you take some time to choose pictures that will represent the two of you in the way that you would like for your guests to know you. Show them something about your personalities that they might not already know about you. Remember the point is to be creative and give your guests something they will enjoy, and something you can be proud of.
