Creative wedding invitations are something that every bride can make a possibility for her wedding. The possibilities are almost endless on what can be done, limited only by your imagination. This is certainly more true for the modern bride than it was for past brides due to the incredible leaps we've had in technology. Computers and their programs are so up to date with what the typical business can do, that the same quality products can be made right at home.
Wedding invitations should complement your venue or theme, as well as your wedding ceremony colors and are available in many varieties ranging from elegant to sophisticated and modern designs. Then of course, you should personalize the card not only in design and color, but also by including wording as per your personal preferences. The style of the wording within your invitations also plays an important part - if your wedding is lighthearted and carefree, it might be good to write your card to match that. Or, if your wedding is more formal, it'd be good to have the invitation written more formally, making sure of course not to leave out the date, time, and location.
Summery Combos: Who knew floral invitations and anchors paired so well? When your nautical event is in the heart of summer, add bright flowers and watercolor stripes for a very pretty wedding invite. Thoughtful Illustrations: For a unique spin on nautical, go with an illustration that suits your own event's theme. If you are hosting your wedding at a marine museum or historical site, give a nod with vintage maps and a more neutral palette.
The other caution with this method is that many of your older guests like grandparents may not be very computer savvy. For these guests you might consider actually sending out the compact disc in the mail. Besides, many of these guests are a little more traditional and would prefer to get an actual invitation in the mail instead of an email. Most if not all of your younger guests will be fine with this method as it is a normal part of everyday life. But the choice on mail or email is completely up to you. When making your decision, give some thought to how the email may be received by the majority of your guests. It is your wedding day, but traditionally weddings are a more intimate type of affair than an email might portray.
